  3.                   UNDOCUMENTED FEATURES OF THE ICOM IC-32AT

  6. After having opened the transmit and receive on the Icom IC-32AT, I discovered
  7. that I have some other advantages.  I am not sure if these will work on an
  8. unmodified IC-32AT, but it's worth a try (It doesn't involve opening the 
  9. radio).  Everything is done from the keypad.

  11. EUROPEAN 144 OPERATION

  13. 1. As above, with the radio turned off, press and hold the FUNCTION key and the
  14.    digit # and turn on the radio.  The VHF portion of the radio will now
  15.    operate as described in the owners manual for the European version of the
  16.    IC-32 (except for the tones...)  See the caution in the above UHF step as it
  17.    applies to the VHF in this case.
